Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital melalui media sosial dan Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah mendorong transformasi komunikasi modern yang mengubah pola interaksi masyarakat menjadi lebih cepat dan interaktif. Namun, kajian mengenai hubungan media sosial dan AI dalam membentuk komunikasi modern masih sering dibahas secara terpisah.

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran media sosial dan Artificial Intelligence dalam membentuk transformasi komunikasi modern serta dampaknya terhadap pola komunikasi masyarakat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi literatur melalui analisis jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan laporan digital yang relevan. Dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial memperluas ruang komunikasi dan pertukaran informasi, sementara AI memperkuat proses komunikasi melalui otomatisasi dan personalisasi konten.

 

Integrasi keduanya menciptakan komunikasi yang lebih efisien, namun juga memunculkan tantangan seperti disinformasi, bias algoritma, dan penurunan kualitas interaksi sosial secara langsung. Jadi transformasi komunikasi modern itu dipengaruhi oleh integrasi media sosial dan AI yang mengubah cara masyarakat berkomunikasi dan mengakses informasi. Implikasi: Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya literasi digital serta penggunaan teknologi yang etis agar komunikasi digital tetap berkualitas.
